How To Donate

As many as a half million women in the US have HG annually. According to our international survey, about 25% of the women visiting our site have terminated an average of 1.8 pregnancies due to ineffective care and lack of support. Some have terminated as many as eight much-wanted pregnancies. Your tax deductible donation will help these women - and potentially protect the health of future generations.

Congress wants to know how many people "care about this cause," and the best measurement is the number of individual contributors - even if you can only donate a few dollars.

If every woman who has suffered from HG gave just $1, we would raise enough money to fund the needed research for HG.
Led by Dr. Goodwin, the USC Maternal-Fetal medicine research team hopes to fund, much needed, current and proposed HG research projects with your donations.

Honor someone with a tribute.

Celebrate someone special in your life by making a generous donation to the HER Foundation in their name. Whether it's a holiday, a birthday, a wedding, the birth of a child, or any other special occasion, a tribute gift is a simple and thoughtful way to show your respect for a family member, friend or coworker. In addition to a grateful acknowledgement of your donation that serves as your receipt for tax purposes, a recognition letter will be sent to your honoree. Honoring the memory of a loved one, especially one lost to HG, is a unique and gratifying way to help others. Send a memorial gift to the HER Foundation in their name and continue their legacy of love and hope. Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies match employees' contributions to charity. Please check with your Human Resources Department to find out if your company has such a program. If your company does match employee contributions, please include the appropriate Matching Gift Form with your donation (your donation will help twice as much).

The HER Foundation is the only nonprofit foundation devoted to hyperemesis and run by health professionals. We need your help to continue. The HER Foundation is a 501c3 tax-exempt national nonprofit. All donations are tax deductible in the US.

The work of the HER Foundation is funded by your donations. We receive no grants or funding from government agencies or pharmaceutical companies. Further, our staff does not receive salaries from donations. These general donations are vitally important for funding research and education programs that help us save lives by improving the medical care for women with hyperemesis.
