We have a son!

We had a baby boy on April 10 at 3:38pm. He was 8lbs. 1 oz., 20 1/2 inches long. I'll post my birth story later. Oh, his name is Isaac Elias. I'm not sure how to post a icture. Can someone help me? Thanks!

Oh CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm just thrilled for you.

And I LOVE the name. Do you know the singer/song writer Michael Card? He has a song about Isaac of the Old Testament in the Bible...the name means "laughter."

Congrats! Isn't Isaac a wonderful name.... my second son is named Isaac, and it suits him so much, he's such a cheerful, happy boy. I laughed when they showed him to me at delivery, and my husband said, "Well, his name is definitely Isaac now!"

Wishing you a happy, easy baby. I'm so happy for you, Becky!

And where can I get ahold of that Michael Card song? My Isaac loves his CD "Sleep Sound in Jesus". He knows the words to every song (he's only 20 months old) and we play it every night at bedtime. He would be delighted to hear his favourite songer do a song about his name. :D
