Does anyone have Hale's Medication and Mother's Milk?

Postby cthmschler » Aug 18, 2004 9:00 am

If anyone has a current (2004) copy of Medication and Mother's Milk, by Thomas Hale, could you please look up a med for me and relay the information the book gives? I have labyrinthitis, and the first doctor I saw didn't want to give me anything for it because I am breastfeeding, but my doctor gave me meclizine (12.5 mg, also known as Antivert) yesterday. I haven't taken it yet. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

I have the 2004 edition. Meclizine is L3. Email me if you want more detailed info on it--I don't always check the board regularly. jkaleczyc@state.mt.us

Xenical is not in the book. Does it go by any other name?

It also goes by orlistat. That may be the generic name though. Thanks so much for looking!

Teresa,
I just wanted to tell you to take a look at the research polls forum when you get a chance. I haven't read through it all, but someone posted wondering if there might be a connection between hg & labryrinthitis.

Lisa,

Orlistat isn't in there either. And I thought that book had everything!

I'm always glad to look things up for you or anyone else, so just ask.
