Oh honey, you're just PREGNANT!

Pregnant again and venting in anticipation of having to go through it all again.

I was at the ER because my esophagus had started bleeding, the bile was still coming up at the rate of about twice an hour, and I had lost 15 lbs.

When the nurse came in and looked at my file, she said, "Oh honey, you're just pregnant!" as if it were some great insight!

Well you can imagine how relieved I was to hear that my condition was related to my pregnancy! I skipped all the way home, knowing that everything was juuuuust fine!

I wish people were more informed about HG.

I tell you its stupid idiots (sorry thats how I feel) that make all nurses look bad. I believe every nurse needs to go through HG and see what its like then we'll see if they tell us "awwhh its just pregnancy." I say BS to all that!!

I am surprised you didn't hit her (verbally or physically). Geez, and she went through nursing school to learn that! I'm with Suzanne, send her to HG Island!
