Dogs Can Have Zofran Too

*GROSSMENT*

Yesterday we took my precious 5yr old Rat Terrier to the vet specialist for a check-up as she's suffering from liver failure  Anyway, one of the 8 meds she's on is making her :verygreen: . We can tell, because Dh said she looks like me when I would get :verygreen: . LOL . . . hmmm, maybe that was a cracker!?

So the vet said that there are some anti-nausea meds we could give her. So of course I piped up and asked, "Like what?". The vet looked surprised and mentioned one that starts with a "b" (benzapril sounds familiar :?: ) and then asked if I was familiar with it. I said "No, but I took Zofran my entire pg with Maddie." You should have seen the look on her face! Priceless - she just said, "wow, you must have been really sick".

Turns out, Zofran is too expensive for dogs with nausea (no crap!) so even though dogs can have Zofran too, my puppers might be getting something else. Good to know, that our beloved furbabies can get good meds too! :D
