Con-dumb broke

totally freaking out. Chances are, nothing has happened. I mean, my last date for a possible depo shot was only 5 days ago. But it still scares me. I should be callign kaiser, I should be asking for the next day meds (2 strong birth control pills) but I am so afraid of how sick they will (and they will) make me feel. So...avoiding what I have to do.
Damnit!!! Excuse my language, but what else can I say? I guess abstenance is the next best thing!!!!
So scared!

:hugs: :hugs:

I dont' know if this will help but my OBs have always said that even with the Depo window.. it still takes a few weeks to 6 months to get out of your system. So even being in that 5 day, I would think you are OK. I understand your worry though!!

I have taken the PlanB after. I did get a bit sick, but nothing like the whole HG moments. I dont know what BC does for you.

Take care of you!!!

You can get pharmacist prescribed Plan B in CA, so there is no need for a prescription. You can go here and enter your zip code and you can find a pharmacy near you that participates http://www.ec-help.org/pharmacylocations.asp?state=CA

Plan B is a newer formula and is NOT the 2-4 birth control pill one that they used to use and has much less vomiting.

I used to wait 14 weeks to get my depo shots because the chance of pg is still pretty low at that point (and I never would get around to thinking about it before that).

Good luck!!

Sorry honey. God, life just keeps being scary doesn't it. We can't seem to catch a break. I would think with you only being five days past time to get the shot that you should be ok. Sorry I haven't been on in a few days and didn't see your post until now - I hope you are able to get out of panic mode.

Brandi -

Thinking about you still. What did you decide to do? Did you end up getting Plan B or are you just going to wait it out? Please let us know how you're doing!
