It's a new phase, a new step. There is so much bad, we forget we are also saying good bye to the good stuff too until it actually happens.

(((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))

Love and good thoughts your way! Take care of you, and check in when you can.

Thanks so much for the support.

It's done. I passed :? the pg test with a negative and everything proceeded.

And I was right: HATE anesthesia. No complications but the side effects are surprising...sore shoulders (wth), dry mouth that makes me wish for ptylasim (I'm not kidding), and sore throat. Then of course, I have booboos: one in my belly button and one at the pubic hair line. Guess they made it so I can wear bikinis  lmao,

I'm home. That was totally weird. More later...

(Oh, and I am typing in tongues, apparently. )

The sore shoulder is from the air they use to expand your abdomen so they have room to work. It bubbles its way up as far as it can, and then you just have to wait until your body gets rid of it. OUCH! I remember that as the worst part of my gall bladder laparoscopy. It took a few days for that pain to subside.

Were you scared when they did the pre-surgery pregnancy test? Even though I knew I couldn't be pregnant, I was just terrified that they'd come back and tell me I was. Whew!

Totally scared.

It's, afterall, like me to turn pg if I schedule a tubal (both Hope and Jack) and I figured showing up...well...perhaps we can pass my tubal bfp pattern to someone ttc?

I hated the shoulder pain too from my GB lapy. It actually ended causing me a post op migraine, as it traveled up VERY far into my upper neck & head.... that was by FAR the worst part about surgery for me.

:hugs:

Take time to heal.... physically and mentally.... much love Suzanne.

Suzanne - missed this thread.

Glad all went well, i.e. you got the TL done and you're NOT pg. I hope all the side effects wear off very soon.

*raises glass of suitably alcoholic drink* Here's to some fabulous, worry-free sex :D . Cheers *chink*
