Hip Hip Hooray! for zophran

Postby tigergirl2346 » Jun 18, 2005 12:31 pm

:D I have been begging my doc to switch me to zophran because the anzamet just wasn't working anymore. He refused because "anzamet is the best drug on the market. zophran works the same but is not as strong and will not help you." Well, then my insurance decided they no longer wanted to pay for anzamet and wanted me to take zophran. So I've been taking it for a week and it helps WAY BETTER! I was peuking 3-4 times a day and now I only get sick once or twice if at all. I can't wait until my next dr appt!

He took the credit for it of course!!!!  Don't you just LOVE doctors??!! But that's OK! I'm not suprised.
The zophran is still working pretty well. I'm still queasy all the time, but I only puke maybe two or three days a week now... MUCH improved for sure!! I was hoping to be all better by now (22 weeks), but still battling! I just had my picc line replaced today cause it was sliding out too far.

I am glad your feeling better. Is it not amazing that you the women this is happening to might know what is best for her. I had to fight with my doctors to just put a picc line in. I had to have mine replaced as well i thouht i was having a heart attack and the docs thought it was a blood clot so they took it out then ended up putting it back in.
