Zofran vs. Mirtazipine??

I have tried Zofran in previous pregnancies and it did nothing, I mean, NOTHING, for me. Now my new doctor is recommending Mirtazipine. I looked it up, and it appears that both drugs have the same mechanism of action in the brain. If Zofran didn't work, why would Mirtazipine? Any ideas? Also, has anyone had good results with Mirtazipine when Zofran did not work???

All I can tell you is that mirtazapine gave me horrible side effects and I only took it for a short time for that reason. Zofran gave me some relief, but it was certainly no cure.

What else have you tried?
