I live in Rocky River, a suburb of Cleveland. The OB/Midwife practice I'm currently seeing has a "suffer through as best you can" mentality toward HG. Part of my problem is that due to my work situation, I have the state Medicaid insurance Caresource, which doesn't list a single perinatalogist as being "in-network"--all the member handbook lists is a section of OB/GYNs and CNMs. When I asked my current Midwife about a referral to a high-risk OB, she asked me why I concider myself to be high-risk, and then brushed it off, saying that the high-risk center is located in a different hospital of the Cleveland Clinic system. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
