Doctor in San Antonio, Tx?!

Postby amylds » Feb 08, 2007 12:02 pm

My sister just moved to San Antonio, TX and is 6 weeks pregnant with her first. It looks like it's going to be an HG pregnancy and I want her to get some support fast! She has no idea where to even start looking for a good OBGYN with HG experience so if anyone has any referrals that would be awesome!

Thanks.
HG survivor and crazy enough to do it again (and again).

I am sorry that my reply is late.

I don't know Texas well at all so please forgive me. I can't think of anyone from Texas that are on the forums right now. I will keep trying though.

Here is the list of Dr from Texas from the referal network.

Dr. Ramos will listen to you and not second guess your HG. This is my 2nd case of HG but, 1st with Dr. Ramos. He took me at my word. Starting zofran immediately. And honestly is the best doctor I have ever met. His main office and hospital are in downtown Houston. However he goes to several branch offices twice a month. I see him in clear lake.

Excellent doctor, knew right away I had hyperemesis, what it was and how to treat it. Level headed, smart, always available day or night when additional HG treatment was needed. Known as one of the best OBs in DFW. His mother was a midwife. His staff are all excellent as well. He didn't make me do the glucose tollerance test either!!!
