Looking for HG specialist:
I had my daughter at Yale-New Haven Hospital 12/30/2002. Liked my OBs but in retrospect they were not at all proactive. They did give me twice weekly B6 injections and prescribed Phenergan, which helped break vomiting cycles but necessitated 5-6 hours of sleep after each suppository.
Recently terminated a pregnancy (with horrible regret after) because at my first OB visit (same practice), having already been sick for two weeks, the head OB told me there was nothing new they could offer me. Can't say how much I wish I had found this site three weeks ago instead of five days after I terminated.
Anyway, I might consider a third child if I had a doctor who was more on the ball with HG. I see no one in your referral network, but hoping someone here might be able to help out.
Thanks,
Cecca
