OBGYN and/or Perinatalist/GI doctor = HG in San Francisco

Postby kts » Oct 25, 2007 9:06 pm

Hi ...

I am interested in any doctor who deals with HG in San Francisco.

Either a specialist or GI doctor or perinatalist.

I don't know the perinatologists in San Francisco.

The closest one I know would be Yasser El-Sayed at Stanford. Unfortunately, I know nothing about how he deals with HG, just that he is generally very good at what he does.

It might help if you could tell us what insurance (if any) you are using?

I started out with a Standard OB who was Dr. E. Schleuning in Oakland, she works with OB/GYN partners for health. She wanted to have me on a Zofran pump at 7 weeks, she couldnt convince me until I was 11. She is very proactive and will to experiement.

I am now seeing East Bay Perinatal. I have met 2/3 of their doctors and all have been with it about HG. They have offices in San Ramon, Oakland, and Fremont.

I am hoping to avoid TPN with appetite stimulation from Marinol. So far it is a agood plan. I get fluids and vitamins in the fluid daily.
HG 5wk-34wk (aka:birth) I had it bad, we almost died. I did everything but the NJ. I do NJ in my line of work. I can tell you all about them except how they feel. ER/Trauma/ICU RN PM me anything.
