Onions were evil to me, of course I was too afraid to even attempt garlic. Funny thing is the worst smell for me was Subway sacks . I could eat Subway with no problems, but my husband had to ditch the bag before he came in the house or the smell of it would make me yack.

One time he actually told the lady at Subway he didn't want a bag because it'd make his wife puke, he said the look on her face was priceless.

Mine was grapefruit, I always used to have tinned greapefruit for breakfast and when I tried in on one of my better days when pg with Kimi I really enjoyed it so I had another bowl and then I projectiled twice in the hallway trying to get to the toilet!! It went absolutely everywhere!! I haven't been able to eat it since!! And definitely not now.

MAJOR FOODMENT!!!

Definitely onions... but closely followed by tomatoes and any dairy. So much for those nachos with salsa and sour cream! I can talk about them now but still cannot smell or eat them.

END FOODMENT

Ground beef or sausage were so nasty to me when I was pregnant. Hamburger patty's were okay, but if it was all ground up it was horrible.

I also find that canned peaches... their slimey "texture" to be impossible to handle but I can drink the juice or nibble fresh ones. Actually, I've found quite a few textures (I think Rebecca touched on this in her post) that are hard to handle but no need to add to the foodments!

Meat in any form other than unrecognizably processed. ANY food with texture was bad for me.

My most memorable vomits are hamburger and spaghetti (ouch, ripped-up esophagus) and raspberry shake (through the nose, leaving pink splatter stains on the toilet seat to remind me).

Spices of any sort except for salt. Cilantro is especially nasty for me. All comes from vomitting up a quesadilla. Ick. Oh dear, I really shouldn't be thinking about these things! It's making me sick! :?

Red and green peppers were AWFUL. I didn't realise how many foods they were in until I had hg.

Closely followed by tomatoes, onions and... and... and...

Other than the inherent nastiness of sausage  ...what ingredient is the issue the most.

Oregano was an instant vomit fest for me, too. Don't even go near sage in sausage.

I think my worst was little ceasers crazy bread. Oh that coming up was the nastest thing on the planet. It burned. I did not start eating it again till a couple months ago and my son is almost 3.

Suzanne,

I never actually ate sausage with HG, but my dh loves biscuits and gravy (with lots of sausage-ick!) and he made it a couple times near the beginning with my first (before he realized how horribly sick it made me). I didn't touch the stuff, but the smell was so disgusting, I can still remember it very vividly. I don't think I could ever eat biscuits and gravy again. I'm okay now with MOST sausage, but not all. I honestly have no idea what made it so gross for me.

The worst for me with al 3 pg's was soup. In hospital every lunchtime they would dish it up to me. With Beth and Adam sausages also were really bad. With the 1st I had subway once, kept it down, but for 2 years after that the smell of subwa would make me reach. I can eat it now but still can't stand the smell.

CHEESE!!! Major barf fest just even thinking about the stuff. People were literally banned from mentioning the word in front of me it got that bad.

Pineapple was pretty hazardous too - it was seriously a choking hazard on the way back up because it has a kind of 'stringy' texture (sorry guys - tmi). And don't forget those acid burns...

I will never forget it. UGH!!!!

I just love this poll. My worst foodment has to be fast food. Any hamburger and french fries make me gag and vomit. DH got some fries the other day in the vehicle and I gagged the entire way home. My poor husband felt so bad. He had no idea that I could turn that pale that fast  . In addition to fast food, I cannot eat any red meat or greasy foods in general. Red sauces are also completely out.
