What about a chat function?

There's a Yahoo group called Hyperemesis. Yahoo groups DO have chat function. Maybe the active folders could use it to organize chat times?

I actually asked Andy (Ivydragon) about this a while back. She said they had thought about it but felt that too much helpful information would end up getting lost because it wouldn't get posted on the forums.

Teddi's idea sounds good though.

If we utilize the old HuGS board at Delphi, there's chat with that. It requires a moderator to set up a room, but after that it can be anytime, anyone. That would be another option, but it might mean that someone else has to take over that site or co-moderate.
