What really gets me...

Postby octobermomma » Jan 13, 2007 3:36 pm

OK...here's how to play:

The first person starts with "What really gets me is....
and then lists a pet peeve or something that irritates them.

The next person says either "yes, that's irritating but what gets me is..." or "no, that's not as bad as..."

For example:

1st post: What really gets me is when men leave the toilet seat up

2nd post: yes, that irritating but what gets me is when someone uses the last of the milk and then puts the jug back in the refrigerator

3rd post: no, that's not as bad as when people let their dogs use my yard as a toilet and don't clean up after them

Get the idea??

What really gets me is when people don't know how to use a four way stop.

yes that is irritating, but what really gets to me is when people walk through a parking lot with little kids not holding their hands and not watching for cars.

yes, that's irritating but what really gets me is when people try to tell you how to raise your kids.

That is annoying, but what really gets me is when people say "I know what you're thinking" how? How do you know?, and trust me, if you really did know what I was thinking, you would've run away by now!

That is very annoying! And what also gets me is when people tell me that I'll definitely love this or that one day, even though I don't like it now!

Yes, that is very irritating. But what is reeeeeeeeelllly annoying is when people have no tact or self awareness when they speak to you about issues that are sensitive to you

Yes that is annoying, but what really bothers me is when people tell you that if you try hard enough you will not throw up when you're battling HG.

Yes, that is very annoying...

But what is really annoying is long line ups and a cranky baby!

Yes that's annoying

But what is really annoying is when you try your hardest and you still can't fall asleep, even tried counting sheep and all

Oh yes, that is annoying! But what about...

You actually get some nap time to yourself to catch up on sleep and the stupid dog next door won't quit barking!

Yes that's annoying, but what really gets me is when I need a nap, but I come on here to check the boards and get carried away and then the girls wake up and I wish I'd had the nap I was supposed to be having!

Oh yes, that is really irritating, but what really annoys me is when I am trying to get a point across to the dh and he takes it the other direction!

Yes that is irritating, but what gets me is when you tell people what time you bath kids, and what time you do dinner and bedtimes and they still always call in the middle of it, and for something totally pointless, and if you answer they say "are you busy?"

Sounds like here! Very irritating, but what is really irritating is when the parrot has to sqwak louder than anyone in the house!

I can only guess how irritating that is, but what really gets me is when exes can cause major problems in your life even when they aren't around!

Oh yes, that can be irritating, but what really bugs me is when the kids will not go downstairs when I ask them to so that I can do my homework (which is what I am supposed to be doing right now!)

That would be annoying, but what really gets me is when people seem to drive Sooooo slow at the precise moment you need to rush somewhere.
