I wonder if anyone knows where to look for doctors that understand HG in the UK and if anyone knows of any?

I was looking for the same thing in between pg's as mine was absolutel cr*p. But all the searches I put in for a dr that deals with HG were fruitless. HG just isn't recognised very well here so finding a specialist isn't going to be easy. The best thing you can do is go to your own dr and ask for a referral to a dr who has dealt with it before. Your dr cannot refuse, you have the right to get referred if the dr has a speciality. And it is also your dr's responsibility to help you find them.

I would suggest the bigger the hospital the better they are likely to manage it. They will have a protocol for the early admissions (up to 18/ 20 weeks under gynae) and are likely to have seen a bit more over the years. You are not going to get managed like in the US though. I really don't know if that will change any time soon.
