London Hyperemesis Clinic?

Postby sufferingbadly » May 18, 2011 3:48 pm

Hi there,

Can anybody tell me whether there is still a specialised clinic somewhere in London?

From googling, I have found that it was run by a Sister Leasa Green, based at the Royal London Hospital.

However, I heard from someone that it is no longer running... :(

Please let me know if you have any info.

Joseph Peter was born on 27th December 2009. Suffered with HG from week 5, eased at week 17, again at week 20/21 and again at week 22/23... leaving me with 'morning' sickness until delivery when the sickness disappeared!

from what i heard, lewisham hospital is one of the only hospitals in south or central london that will admit you overnight to stay in hospital till you are better. most will give you fluids and treatment and then send you home.
never heard of any clinic.
A&E sounds like best option to me.

Born 2006 after 'mild' HG - ie. no meds or hospitalisation.
Countdown to week 15, when I hope HG ends for me this time.
