HI! I am in Auckland, I have two girls aged 5 and 2, and am 25 weeks pregnant (with another girl!). All have been HG but the second pg was the worst. This time has been the best, and has almost resolved but still nausous a lot of the time. Your HG sounds unbelievably bad, 3 weeks AFTER delivery!!! aRGHHHH!!!!
It is a tough decision to get pregnant again I know, especially knowing you will be caring for a little one during it all.
PM me with your details if you would like to get in touch!

Well i haven't been on here in ages but am back again as I have decided that I do want another baby. Now it's just a matter of taking the time to prepare for it before we even start trying.

Well done, Melsynz. You are a brave woman. I admire your commitment to your family and your determination to face this ugly illness head on. No one would think any less of you to choose not to have anymore kids, that decision is very hard to make but utterly understandable. But in saying that, I think you deserve a huge ka pai for being so gutsy in taking HG on again. Preparation is vital, and there is so much help in preparing on this site. I could have never done my second preg without this site, it kept me going, even when I wasn't able to get online. Ask any questions you need to, there are SO many wise women on this site, all here to help you, in fact they fall over themselves to help. You are not alone with HG.

I haven't been in here for a long time, and am suprised at all the NZers now! I am based in west Auckland, in Titirangi, but my specialist was Stephen Kruger on the shore, so I delivered there.
my kids are now 7, 4 and 2 and although I would love another, we have decided it is just too hard on everyone to go thru another pregnancy.
I did find my 3rd baby easier than the boys, but I was still sick the whole time. I treated it very agressively in the first trimester which helped, but my 3rd trimester was bad due to damage to my osophegus.
I got really prepared. I bought clothes for the kids, xmas presents, birthday gifts, toys to entertain the other 2, food for africa. I baked and froze meals and then I hired home help to do cleaning and washing etc. it made me feel much better about laying around alot!
I hope your pregnancy is at least better this time! doesn't sound like it could get much worse anyway!
if you want to get in touch, let me know? :D

oh, and can I add, I found a girl easier than a boy when pregnant and I followed a 'recipe" to get her! let me know if you want to try it!

I also did a liver detox before getting pregnant.

and man, the amount of people who said "are you crazy??!!" when I said I was trying again, but at least you know what to expect, and that does help. you can recognise when you need to go to hospital and get onto it alot quicker, and you don't keep waiting for that week 12 or 14 for it to go!
