** Hello **

I am looking desperately for a good or any Doctor/Specialist in the UK to talk about HG. There is no help here and as i am TTC at the moment, i really need to find the support.

I thought these may be helpful. Although they don't list HG specirfically they do list nutrition during preganancy, and prepregnancy councelling which is what I am looking for right now.

They may be worth looking into.

His professional qualifications are MD, FRCP(Glas), FRCP(Edin), FRCP(Lond), FRCOG, MFFP. His clinical practice focuses on the management of high risk pregnancies and medical disorders in pregnancy. Prof Greer has a special interest in pre-eclampsia and haemostasis & thrombosis in pregnancy.

Dr Cameron is currently consultant obstetrician and subspecialist in maternal-foetal medicine at the Queen Mother’s Hospital, Yorkhill, Glasgow, Scotland. He is honorary clinical senior lecturer at the University of Glasgow and Leonard Gow lecturer in the Dept of Child Health at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Yorkhill Glasgow. He is the Director of the Maternal Foetal Medicine training programme of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for the West of Scotland. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1980 and received his MRCOG in 1985. He undertook subspeciality training in Maternal Foetal Medicine at Foothills Hospital and the University of Calgary, Alberta from 1985-1987 and his research there led to him being awarded his MD thesis from the University of Glasgow in 1991. He was lecturer in the Dept of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Glasgow Royal Infirmary from 1987 until he was appointed to his current post in 1992.

He has served as Scottish Members representative on RCOG Council since 1996 and is also a member of the Council of the Royal College of Midwives. He is head of the Foetal Medicine Department of the Hospital and provides a regional and national service in the areas of prenatal diagnosis and foetal therapy. He currently holds grants from the Wellcome Trust to examine the potential of foetal surgery, and also is funded from other National bodies in the areas of prenatal screening. Other areas of clinical and research interest include recurrent miscarriage, pre eclampsia, preterm labour and diabetes in pregnancy.

I'll write to every single one ( Except Edinburgh, my town because they have disappointed me for 7 yrs now).
