Vitamins and supplements

Postby querida » Jul 22, 2004 2:40 pm

Hey, y'all.

My OB today told me that it's time for me to start trying to take my prenatal vitamins again. He said if one kind makes me sick, to try others until I find one I can stand. Have any of you found a prenatal or other vitamin supplement that doesn't make you sick(er)?

I've got some "bee products" (royal jelly, bee pollen, propolis, and honey) that I can dissolve in a little water and take. That has lots of amino acids and the B vitamins, but not much else. What do you guys recommend?

Hi, My Ob says there's a prenatal vitamin she gives her patients, that is specifically for HG patients, called PREMESIS. See if they've hard of it, of you may already be using it, not sure. Hope that helps a bit.

I wasn't able to take vitamins with any of my first three pregnancies and the babies were perfectly fine!

I manage to use flintstones, but I know not everybody can stomach those either.
