I just read this article on a newly researched drug called Gabapentin. It seems to have helped several HG women. Has anyone used it?

Not to diminish how horrible Kate has been feeling, but I just wondered - I've never heard of an HG case that goes away at 12 weeks. Maybe that is because those on this board tend to have it til at least mid-pregnancy. Or is Kate getting treatment that we don't know about beyond Zofran/IVs? HCG levels are at their highest weeks 9-12, so those tend to be the worst weeks for most, even morning sickness cases. So how could an HG sufferer be SO much better at that point? I can't imagine that they tried the steroid approach on her, though maybe they did? We may never know, but I would have had a 3rd if my HG could lessen so early.
