FMLA denied

Postby AmyMCGS » Mar 13, 2006 11:48 am

I applied for FMLA to cover all the work I've been missing... what I didn't realize was that since I only work part-time now, I no longer qualify. :(

I'll most likely be out of sick leave by the time the baby arrives. Getting an unpaid leave status granted isn't likely- they have to have my job filled in order to meet state requirements (I work in a nursing home).

Before, I knew my job would be there for me to go back to, but now, it's up in the air. My boss is great, but there's only so much she can do to help.

Like I need one more thing to worry about right now...
